The upcoming platform update, scheduled for December 30th, brings a couple of interesting changes.

Ruby 2.1.0 final was released on Christmas, and now coming to your builds on Semaphore as well.

Firefox is going up to version 26 (is anyone counting those with browsers any more?). An upgrade of selenium-webdriver gem may be necessary if you’re using Cucumber.

To make it faster to build Node.js and web-only projects, we’re making Grunt, the JavaScript task runner, and Bower, a package manager for web, available preinstalled.

Leiningen, Clojure’s Swiss Army knife becomes available as well.

As usual, full details are in the changelog.

    Have a wonderful New Year!
